Nickel Incoloy 909 AMS 5884
AMS 5884 is a sub-type of Nickel Incoloy 909 that is appreciated for its strength, ductility, and constant thermal expansion coefficient.
The AMS 5884 in particular is very strong, so it is used in applications that require the retention of these structural properties while operating at high temperatures. Usually, gas turbine components are made out of the AMS 5884, as are casings, rings, and seals of high-performance machines.
The particular alloy can be hot worked in the range of 1800℉ (982℃) to 1900℉ (1038℃).
Incoloy 909 AMS 5884 is available as a forging billet, bar, or as ring.
We also offer custom tubing services for AMS 5884.
