AMS 5892 is a sub-type of Nickel Incoloy 909 that is appreciated for its strength, ductility, and constant thermal expansion coefficient.

Featuring the capacity to be work-hardened during machining, this nickel-cobalt-iron alloy is harder to cut thanks to its relative softness and ductility, while its strength level remains typical of an Incoloy 909 member. This characteristic makes it ideal for bolting applications in high-temperature environments.
