AMS 5666 is a sub-type of the corrosion-resistant nickel alloy Inconel 625, available as a bar, ring, forging stock or customized tube.

The particular alloy consists of:
62Ni – 21.5Cr – 9.0Mo – 3.65 (Cb [Nb]+Ta), and the parts made out of its are annealed.

AMS 5666 combines optimal corrosion and oxidation resistance in high temperatures with good welding properties.
