Nickel Inconel 625 AMS 5869

AMS 5869 is a sub-type of the corrosion-resistant nickel alloy Inconel 625, available in plate, sheet, or strip pieces.

AMS 5869 is very resilient against creeping and rupture to temperatures that go up to 2000 °F (1093 °C), so it is typically used in high-stress applications such as tanks in industrial environments, high-pressure pipelines, and valves.

It is solution heat treated and comprises mainly of:
62Ni – 21.5Cr – 9.0Mo – 3.7Cb.
