Stainless Steel Custom 450
Custom 450* stainless is a martensitic age-hardened stainless steel. It has a high corrosion resistance similar to 304 stainless, but has the moderate strength closer to a 410 stainless. Custom 450* can be machined, hot-worked and cold formed, similar to many other martensitic age-hardenable stainless steels. It is well known for its ease in welding and brazing. The material is normally supplied in the annealed condition but can be heat treated to meet the H900, H1050 and H1150 conditions.
