Nitronic 60 is an austenitic alloy that performs well as a high temperature alloy. With the addition of silicon and manganese Nitronic 60 has high resistance to ware, galling and fretting even in the annealed condition. It can be cold worked to achieve higher strength levels. Nitronic 60 is most commonly used in valve stems, fastening systems, nuts and bolts and pump components.
