China’s New Jet Looks To Compete With Western Airliners

The ARJ21-700 from China is finally ready to go after being built by the government-owned aircraft manufacturer, Comac, in order to compete with western airlines.

The first two jets are being deployed by Chengdu Airlines, capable of seating 78-90 passengers, the first step toward competing with western airplane makers.
