Factory Orders Up 10.5% In July

The reports are in and factory orders are up 10.5% in July, a little bit shy of the estimated 11% jump estimated by economists.

July features an abnormally large order for Boeing planes, resulting in durable goods orders spiking by 22.5%, a major contributor increase in factory orders.

June featured a 1.5% jump in factory orders.
